  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Fine Sea Salt

For the Topping

  • 1/4 cup Sliced Almonds
  • 1 tablespoon Powdered Monk Fruit Sweetener
  • 1 tablespoon Unsalted Butter, Melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Beat the butter and powdered monk fruit sweetener until creamy.
  • Mix in the egg yolk, almond extract, and vanilla extract.
  • Stir in the almond flour, baking powder, and sea salt until a soft dough forms.
  • Shape the dough into 12 crescent-style cookies or thick ovals.
  • Mix the sliced almonds with melted butter and powdered monk fruit sweetener.
  • Press the almond topping onto each cookie.
  • Bake for 11 to 13 minutes, until the almonds are lightly toasted and the cookies are set.
